I got mine for Christmas 2011.For the price,a brilliant little,easily carried,pocket camera.I recommended it to my sister.She thinks it's idiotproof.I like it so much I've originated a gallery,on pbase,just for it. seehttp://www.pbase.com/taggart51/canon_a1200

What a great little camera for the price. I love it. especially the real viewfinder that zooms along with the lens. I haven't liked compact cameras since the industry sacrificed optical viewfinders for slimmer cameras.

The lack of stabilization is very noticeable when shooting one handed (from the car), I exchanged mine yesterday.

I just got mine yesterday, a great pocket camera and a backup to the larger ones. Hope to see some of mine here soon!
