We spent the first 5 days on Ambergris Caye where we had the opportunity to snorkle with sharks and rays, sail to nearby Caye Caulker, and just hang out and enjoy the laid back nature of San Pedro Town. The last three days were spent up in the jungles of the Cayo District. We canoed the Mecal River, spent a day in Guatemala visiting Tikal, and explored a Mayan ceremonial cave at Chechum Ha.
